Sculptor Marion Bartlett and woodworker Richard Bino have built their new studios and gallery space in Singhampton, near Brewster's Lake, Grey Highlands, Ontario and are now open for visitors. Marion's work is showcased in her wonderful loft studio and reaches out to the surrounding 3 acres of trees and pathways. The park-like setting is ideal to display the sometimes whimsical and often fascinating sculptures that reside there. Her sculpture installations, made from bronze, stone, or wood, are on public display throughout Ontario. Richard's woodwork, including both turned objects and handcrafted furnishings, reflect his meticulous attention to detailed finishes. He utilizes both local and exotic wood, creating beautiful artwork that will be handed down through generations. Often clients will ask to have objects specially made from an ancient and beloved tree, sharing these memorable gifts and ultimate legacies, among family members. Studios are open by chance or appointment. Watch for special showings, classes and art retreats.
